The Republic of Mauritius was subject under Article 63 of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC), to a peer review under Cycle II on the implementation of Chapters II (Preventive Measures) and V (Assets Recovery) of the Convention in 2016-2017. The full report was recently rendered public by the UNODC. It indicates that at the time of review, in 2017, Mauritius was compliant to almost all the mandatory provisions of the different articles.
