The Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following posts:

CORPORATE SERVICES DIVISION
1.0 Post: IT Officer
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. A post “A” level degree in IT or Computer Studies from a recognized institution or an alternative qualification acceptable to the Commission.
  2. At least two years’ post qualification experience in LANs and data communications, problem solving and analytical skills, with network design and Router Firewall configuration experience.
  3. Familiar in use of Windows NT, Novell, Windows, MS Office, Peripherals (Printers, Tape Drivers, Scanners).

2.0 Post: Systems & Network Security Engineer
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields from a recognized institution or an alternative qualification acceptable to the Commission.
  2. At least five years’ post qualification experience in an enterprise environment
  3. Certification in either Microsoft, Cisco or any equivalent certifications

3.0 Post: IT/Web Developer
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields from a recognized institution or an alternative qualification acceptable to the Commission.
  2. At least five years’ post qualification experience in developing software applications for enterprise with a least two years of solid experience in either Java/PHP/C#/Javascript/ SQL.
  3. Conversant with HTML, CSS, prototype design and data analytical tools.

CORRUPTION INVESTIGATION DIVISION

4.0 Post: IT Analyst
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields from a recognized institution or an alternative qualification acceptable to the Commission; and
  2. At least three years’ post qualification experience in in an enterprise environment including duties performed as follows: data security, system maintenance and data analysis

5.0           TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: On contract

6.0           REMUNERATION

7.0           MODE OF APPLICATION, JOB DESCRIPTION AND NOTES AND INSTRUCTIONS

Applications should be made on the prescribed form ICAC/AF1. The Job Description defines the desirable criteria which would assist the applicant in the discharge of the duties attached to the post.

8.0           CLOSING DATE

The completed Application Form together with photocopies of all supporting documents referred to at paragraph 6(g) in the “Notes & Instructions” should be submitted not later than 14.00 hrs on 19 June 2019 to the Acting Secretary, Independent Commission Against Corruption, Réduit Triangle, Moka.
