The ICAC Short Film Award Ceremony was held on Friday 20th of May, 2016 at ICAC Headquarters.

The ICAC Short Film Competition 2016 saw the participation of 49 entries in the amateur category and 9 in the professional category. The set theme was “Fighting corruption is everybody’s responsibility”. In his speech, the Ag Director General, Mr. Kaushik Goburdhun highlighted that this being a competition, there was only going to be a handful who would be awarded prizes. However, for the Commission, all participants were the true winners. He saluted the effort participants put in to think about corruption as a social issue first, write a script, produce the movie and submit it. More than 500 certificates of participation were issued and ICAC hope the growing support from the civil society will continue in the fight against corruption.
