QUALIFICATIONS

  • (A) A Master in Business Administration (MBA) from a recognized institution with at least 5 years’ experience in a managerial position
    Or
  • (B) A Degree in Management/ Law/ Finance from a recognized institution; with at least 10 years ‘experience in a managerial position;
    Or
  • (C) A Qualified member of the ICSA with at least 10 years ‘experience in a managerial position;
    Or
  • An alternative qualification acceptable to the Commission.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES

  • To lead and manage the Corporate Services Division to achieve its intended outcomes as well as deliver efficient and effective services in the areas of; finance, procurement; human resources management and development, administration, property and facilities as well as planning and performance management
  • To plan, organize, coordinate and monitor the activities of the Division within the broad policy of the Commission including the supervision of the staff assigned to assist the other Divisions
  • To assist the Director-General in advising the Commission on policy matters regarding Finance, Administration, Human Resources and Procurement/Purchasing and Supplies Management and in executing decisions
  • To participate in formulating, defining, reviewing and updating the ICAC strategy of operations
  • To be responsible for the implementation of Board’s decisions in respect of the Division
  • To be responsible for the preparation and implementation of a plan for human resource development and training
  • To be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the Performance Management System throughout the Commission
  • To keep the Commission informed on a regular basis on major issues, as appropriate and to submit to the Commission performance reports on a regular basis
  • To ensure effective and efficient delivery of services to all stakeholders of the Division
  • To be responsible for all security issues
  • To ensure a high level of health and safety at the Commission
  • To ensure that discipline prevails at all times
  • To perform such other duties related to the main duties listed above or related to the delivery of the output and results expected from the Director Corporate Services in the roles ascribed to him
